Free to Grow: A Tuesday Night Smallgroup!

Our next Lifeline Connection small group will be starting next Tuesday, September 4th here at the Urban Center north of downtown Des Moines.  

The purpose of this group study called Free to Grow is to help people overcome disappointments and setbacks that have arrested or are presently hindering their emotional and spiritual development. The group will help participants understand how to be set free so that they can grow & become all that God has designed them to be.

Listed below are the twelve discussion topics that will be included in this 12-week group:

• Who Am I?
• Unmasked Faces
• Facing the Truth of Disappointment
• Forgive as God Forgave
• Setting Boundaries
• Childlike Versus Childish
• Making Choices
• Freedom and Responsibility
• Fresh Start
• Developing the Character of Christ
• Developing Freedom in Christ
• Developing a Future in Christ

There is a pastor who recently went through this material and afterwards he wrote, 

"Having gone through this study in my own small group of friends... not only did I benefit personally, but I am ready to start small groups in our church using this powerful material. The step-by-step approach leads one through a deepening of faith, and I believe that every member will emerge renewed, refreshed and eager to make a difference." 

I want to encourage anyone who is sick-and-tired of being sick-and-tired, or anyone who is spiritually plateaued and wondering, "Is this all there is?" -to join others of us who just want to make a difference in this transformational journey!
What: A Christ-centered small group that is part of a national network called Lifeline Connection

Who: People who want to be free of spiritual hindrances or setbacks. 

When: Tuesday nights from 6:30 - 7:45

How Long: Twelve Weeks

How Much: Twenty Bucks (Less than $2/week!)

Where: Teen Challenge of The Midlands Urban Center
                      1709 10th Street  Des Moines, IA

Church Background? Doesn't matter if you're a Sunday School drop-out or a Doctor of Divinity, or if you've never been in your life. All who want to grow and learn more are welcome!
