I love learning from other Leaders! Christ was the ultmiate example!

I was talking to a friend the other day (I believe it was Pastor Jeff Keady of Dover Avenue Alliance Church in Orange City, Iowa), and I was jotting things down on a piece of notepaper like I often do, so I can be reminded to go back and revisit the information later. I was cleaning up my desk a few minutes ago and trying to throw away all the stuff I could (meaning there would be less stuff to file later).

And as I was going through some of my notes, I came across a to-do item I had not done. As I looked at the note paper I had scribbled on in Orange City, I had jotted the words: "Check out Michael Hyatt (dot) com.

I couldn't remember why I wrote that down but I took the reminder as good advice (since I had written it down for an obvious reason) and as soon as the website came up, I remembered why he recommended it to me and why I didn't want to forget to follow-through.  Pastor Keady and I had been talking in his office about leadership and all the changes that have occurred during our 25+ years of ministry tenures. Pastor Jeff said Michael Hyatt had some great insights on everything from social media to cultural trends and he really liked his blog. Now I can say that I really like his blog as well.

Here is how Michael Hyatt describes himself and the purpose of his blog, in his own words:

 I have spent some time scoping it out and have really found his posts relevant and interesting; so I just wanted to pass it along to any of my friends who may enjoy reading blogs to get refreshed, encouraged, equipped, etc. I think you will enjoy this one.
