07/8/2012 Kenya (Reuters) Kenyan Christians Pray Targeted Attacks End-The Kenyan towns of Mombassa and Garrisa, along with other towns along the Somali border, have seen a recent increase in violence against churches. Christians feel more threatened after an attack on two churches in Garissa killed 17 people last Sunday. Church members are now increasingly fearful, watching anxiously for another attack during worship services. However, one Kenyan pastor has encouraged worshippers, declaring, “We will go down on our knees and cry to our father in heaven, for no weapon hurled against the righteous shall prosper.”Full StoryPray for the spirit of peace to comfort those living in fear of another attack.Pray for the families and mourners of the 17 killed in the previous attack.
