I loved this email from our Intake Coordinator yesterday: "We have 6 new students being admitted into Teen Challenge tomorrow. It’s going to be a busy day for everyone involved." It is really exciting for me to share updates like this because that’s six guys off the street and into an environment where they get to encounter the love of God and find new freedom from their old ways. 
It’s going to be awesome. That also means that there are ten (10) new guys who have entered our program in two weeks from four different states. That’s a heavy load for our staff and will definitely be a challenge. In an ideal situation for us we’d prefer to space the intakes out.

Scott Reddish, the author of this amazing email, went on to say, "All six of these guys are committed, on board, and have all of their entry requirements completed. And all they’re waiting for is us to meet them tomorrow." Isn't that awesome! How can anyone not be excited about that?

Please pray for our staff and students! Even though these men are reaching out to us, it doesn't mean they are coming to us full of joy and smiling. Many of them enter our program because it is us or jail. Some are there because their wives & families have said, "You don't have to go there, but you can't stay here;" and they have nowhere else to turn. They're embarrassed, they're feeling lost, they're hurting. They often feel like they have let their family and themselves down. Please pray!

Some of the men are coming because they're on the verge of death and if something doesn't change, they will die. 

Aren't you glad that...

"God loved us when there was nothing good to be seen in us and nothing good to be said for us?"

I remember working with a man a couple years ago who agreed to enter Teen Challenge after months of pleading from his sister and after I spent several hours with him on the phone. The morning of his arrival I got a call from his sister who informed me that her brother passed away the night before. Please pray for our staff and students!

Can I share one more prayer request with you? Please pray that God will continue to meet our needs as he always has. We get no government assistance. We have no millionaire's giving us blank checks. We rely mostly on average people wanting to partner with us to impact other people that nobody else wants. If you would like to partner with a ministry that restores lives and gives hope and a future to people who no longer have either, apart from the loving intervention of God, I would love to hear from you.

This is a time of year when our donations often go on vacations. Yet our phone is still ringing as much as ever: 25-35 times a day! People wanting to know about our program, people working on getting into our program, and people just looking for hope. If you would be willing to help with a donation of any size, I would love to hear from you! Thank you for your prayers and consideration of this request.
